Bethany Brown
Bethany Brown is the Health Commissioner for Sandusky County Public Health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Lourdes University in 1999 and returned in 2012 to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing degree. She started as a Public Health Nurse working in the Immunization clinics, Welcome Home Visits, BCMH program, Lead Case Management, Child and Family Health Grant, and Immunization Action Plan grant. She was then promoted in 2010 to the Director of Nursing position where she supervised all nursing programs and wrote grants to increase programs provided to the community. In 2015, Bethany was promoted to her current position as Health Commissioner. Bethany is responsible for coordinating all health department programs and ensuring programs are in place to address the community health needs. Bethany works closely with community partners and leads efforts in community health improvement planning.
Robin Reaves
Robin Reaves is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor – Supervisor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health and addiction field. She is currently the Deputy Director of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties. She has experience with providing prevention, treatment and recovery support services and supervision of such services. She is actively involved with the Opiate Task Forces in Seneca and Wyandot Counties, as well as a member of the Community Action for Reducing of Substance in each county
Toni Ashton
Toni Ashton is the Prevention Coordinator for the Fairfield County ADAMH Board. She provides leadership and direction for the Fairfield County Suicide Coalition. She co-facilitates CIT for Law Enforcement Officers, and is a Certified Trainer for Mental Health First Aid, as well as an instructor for Trauma Informed Care, QPR and Parent Project Toni has many years of experience and her greatest skill is in bringing together people of diverse ages, backgrounds, and experiences to collaborate and develop programming with a creative and positive message throughout. Anyone who has served on a committee with Toni will tell you that they are amazed at the compassion and creativity she can bring out in a group of people. She is a strong advocate for Evidenced Based practices in both School and Community Prevention programming.
Miriam Walton
Miriam Walton currently serves as Executive Director of the Ashtabula Mental Health and Recovery Services Board and has held that role since 2009. Prior to that role, she served as Assistant Director of the Board (2001- 2009) and as Coordinator of the Ashtabula County Family and Children First Council (1997-2001). In her role as Executive Director, she works directly with local data, engages in planning efforts, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. She has built strong relationships throughout Ashtabula County.
